A community-based team
In May of 2024, both took the field to launch our Women’s program competing in the Women’s Premier Soccer League and our Men’s program competing in the National Premier Soccer League, establishing Niagara 1812 as a rising force in the region’s summer soccer landscape.
All Niagara 1812 home matches are played in the historic community of Lewiston (at Niagara University) – a town where rich history meets a vibrant future. Just minutes away lie the breathtaking Niagara Falls, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, providing a spectacular backdrop for soccer in Western New York and Southern Ontario.
Together, our players, supporters, and community are building something special—right here in the heart of Niagara Region.

Carmine brings a wealth of soccer knowledge through decades of experience. Carmine was a player, coach & now program leader. Carmine knows how to build programs strategically, always thinking ahead with vision as evident with his resume. He has created the Niagara 1812 Program with a clear vision for the future! Carmine is one of the foremost forward thinking soccer leaders in the area!

With over 25 years of experience across the American and Canadian soccer landscape, Hesch is widely respected as an accomplished collegiate coach, elite recruiter, and integrates player development systems that produce results.
Currently serving as Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach at Niagara University, Hesch has helped build top-tier rosters while instilling a high-performance culture rooted in discipline, intensity, and accountability.
A holder of the USSF A License, he blends traditional coaching mastery with advanced analytics tools like Wyscout, Spiideo, and Playermaker — ensuring players are evaluated and developed to a professional standard.
